Here are some things to know when visiting the capital of the Philippines for the first time. Here are a few reasons to interrupt your trip. Most travelers pass by the rightfully famous attractions of Metro Manila, but there are a number of other subway parks to choose from. Other parks within the metro area include the National Park, Aquatic Center and Manila Aquarium, among others. Quezon City is home to many elegant residential neighborhoods, and the most famous are Manila International Airport, Metro Manila Convention Center and Manila Airport. Plaza Lawton, also known as Liwasang Bonifacio, is the closest to downtown Manila. Major shopping centers include the Mall of the Philippines, Pasay City's main shopping center, as well as downtown and other major shopping centers.

There are many currency exchange offices in Manila, including shopping malls, and you can ask your hotel where to get the best product. Travelers who like to stay at the SM Mall of Asia are advised to book a room at one of the many hotels in the mall. One is the Shangri-La Hotel, a luxury hotel in Pasay City, and the other is the Plaza Lawton Hotel.
