Just 34 miles from Manila lies the second most active volcano in the Philippines and the smallest in the entire world. Taal Volcano is indeed a geological wonder. Imagine a volcano within a lake within a volcano within an island. If that doesn’t confuse you, technically the Vulcan Point Island is within Taal Volcano Island which is within Taal Lake sitting within Luzon Island comprised within the Philippine Islands.

Itinerary:

06:00AM – Depart Metro Manila for Tagaytay/ Talisay
08:00AM – Estimated time of arrival at jumpoff point, register
08:30AM – Board boat for Taal Volcano
09:15AM – Arrival at island, start trek
10:30AM – Estimated time of arrival at the summit
11:30AM – Travel back down
12:30PM – Estimated time of arrival back at the boat, travel back to the jump off point
01:45PM – Arrival at jumpoff point, freshen up
02:00PM onwards – Depart and option to have lunch in Tagaytay City (personal account)
04:00PM – Latest time of departure from Tagaytay City for Metro Manila
07:00PM – Estimated time of arrival at drop off point
